That was quick. About midday yesterday, after a nice 10 hour nap I seemed to be back to 100%. Well my stomach was still having some issues, but when doesn’t it? Em came over after dinner for a run. We did the same 3.5 mile route as usual and Em seemed to kick it up a notch. I didn’t take my GPS, but her phone said it was just under 35 min. I know once she gets back into a regular schedule of training, she’ll be able to go sub 10 with no problem.
I came to the conclusion that for this training cycle, I don’t want to time any of my runs. My only exception would be speedwork and maybe a benchmark run that would be no more than weekly. Its going to be hard, especially since I still want to wear my watch to track distance. Luckily I can change my display to not show pace or time.
Of course I doubt this will happen.
