Before using RunGuard, I had used another brand. The $10 I paid for it, didn’t seem worth it. I have two areas of concern: the thighs and the nipples. It was okay for short distances, but I had some hangups with its application. The texture was that of a dry, sticky wax and it did not want to stick to my skin. In the end, I feel like I never got enough product on me to be well protected.
This hasn’t been the case while using RunGuard. The texture is much softer and instead of rubbing my skin like a rubber eraser, it actually glides over and applies itself. I still resort to compression shorts for thigh protection, but I have been using RunGuard for any other trouble spots and have had no worries.
On top of the fact that their product works as advertised, its a Michigan company and I love to support local companies. There are no alcohol-based ingredients that cause skin to dry out, They are actually cheaper per ounce than BodyGlide and they stand behind their product with a 100% guarantee.
The opinions on this review are my own. I was not paid or persuaded in any way to give a particular opinion on this product. Image provided by RunGuard.
