Well, it’s been two weeks since I decided I need to make good on my promises.
I initially didn’t want to weigh myself. Not because I was afraid of what the scale would say. I was pretty sure that I was losing, but I didn’t want to feel a sense of satisfaction so early. Whatever I lost in the last two weeks would most likely not stay as the trend.
However, between my wife’s curiosity and my need to update my BMR, I decided to go ahead and weigh in.
So… I lost approximately 6 pounds!
Why approximately? Because I never had an initial weigh in. At least not on my scale, at the same time of day, yada yada and etc.
It sounds steep to me, so I don’t expect this to be the norm. I have a trend line that I expect to follow and this falls below that. It’s a bunch of geeky number crunching that I will share in a future post.
But in the meantime, I’ve been trying to get 10,000 steps every day, eat healthy, and work out a few times each week. Today verifies that it seems to be working.
