I had a great run yesterday. Everything was feeling good and the weather was great. I got in that zone where you barely feel the ground. I didn’t have my watch on me, but Official Microwave Time says I did 5.7 miles in under 50 minutes. I saw my Let’s …

Was taking it easy. Then I remembered I was on a treadmill and boredom set in, so I picked it up, eventually to 9 mph, just to finish.
Got out of class earlier then expected, so I took advantage of my parents watching Jack and headed out for a run. Ever have an urge to run and actually have the means to go? Its rare, but w…
19 MFing Miles
Just about as good as a 19 mile run could be. Trying Tracks2Milea app, so I don't know if that time is correct. With potty/water/stretch breaks it was about 3:35.
Quick note to take my mind off this paper. I finished Eat and Run by Scott Jurek the other day. My thoughts on it will have to wait until after this stupid paper is done. Yay school!
Ever since Lauren completed her Bikram 30-Day Challenge, she’s been planning her next one. Not necessarily Bikram, but a 30-day challenge to push herself and make her a better, healthier person. She settled on a combination of things and this time, I’ll be taking part as well. Time to get …

Like I mentioned yesterday, Brook’s made a stop at the Utica Hanson’s Store with their Cavalcade of Curiosities Tour Bus. I made plans to show up straight after work. I three goals for this trip: Free Brooks Swag Free Gait Analysis Hopefully a discount on Brooks merch. I had never …
Update: I happened to look at the website again and noticed it is NOT Royal Oak, but Utica. I’m not sure why this hasn’t been publicized very much, but for all you metro Detroiters, Brooks is coming to Royal Oak Utica today. They’ll be pulling up around 3 this afternoon …
Real quick. I discovered trails real close to work. Finally a place for trail running that’s not 45 minutes away!
Literally hot; not Paris Hilton “That’s hot” hot. Its forecasts like these that remind me I really need a nice handheld waterbottle.
Well it looks like I reached my goal. $52 makes 52 laps around the track during tomorrow’s Relay for Life. Thanks for the donations, whether the intention was to support a charity or to make me run a half-marathon, it doesn’t really matter. So come see me tomorrow and maybe …
Someone PR’d by 17 minutes. 2:06:43. Felt awesome. Recap to follow.
We all need a little motivation when the temps drop below 30.
